GO GROUND INDIA
GoGround is a Private Limited company supported by the Italian family-run Riva Foundation. Luca & Ellen Beltrami, originally from the EU, raised the cocoa post-harvesting unit in 2015 with the aim of giving better market opportunities to small-scale cocoa farmers and bringing quality awareness to guarantee a high quality final product to be used in the fine flavor chocolate market.
Fresh cocoa is purchased from over 250 individual small-holders, typically having 0.5-2 hectares of farming land.
More than 150 cocoa farmers from the High-Range of the Idukki district are part of an independent farmer organization. We named the cocoa collected from this group “Idukki Hills”.
